Research & Development

The Garden Stories Section showcases Research & Development Projects - past, present, and future - for A Living Library, Think Parks, and Life Frames. Each design is unique and has been developed to incorporate the local resources of the community in which it is located: human, ecological, economic, historic, technological, and aesthetic - in a site and culturally sensitive manner.

This section also includes a Mission Statement from Life Frames, Inc., the sponsor of A Living Library, Think Park, and Life Frames.

Shown here are some proposals for Living Libraries that function as community learning environments. Also shown are a few of the very early actualized projects - Life Frames - which show the evolution of this work.
