The Interrelated Learning Zones are based on many
important resources of the area - high water table and the underground,
currently flooding, Islais Creek; the Muwekma Ohlone Indians who
once lived here; the later historic agricultural gardens and nuseries
on the site; and the rich multicultural diversity today. In addition
to these resources, the Interrelated Learning Zones are also based
on other school opportunities and needs. The map shows areas to
be linked to an interdisciplinary project-based curricula developing
and using the site and facilities (PreK-12).
